Job description

ABOUT CRAG:

CRAG is an independent research institution engaged in leading-edge basic and applied plant and farm animal sciences. CRAG is established as a Consortium of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology (IRTA), Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and University of Barcelona (UB). The Center is located at the UAB Campus, and currently hosts 200 members from across the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Center for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG) is looking for a PhD Student to be part of the group “Molecular mechanisms of circadian clock function”.

The candidate will be in charge of molecular and cellular analyses of the circadian system in plants.

The tasks are included within the framework of the project with reference number PID2022-137770NB-I00, titled “INTERACCION FUNCIONAL DEL RELOJ CIRCADIANO CON LA FORMACION DE R-LOOPS Y LA ESTABILIDAD GENOMICA EN PLANTAS”.

REQUIREMENTS:

Educational requirements: Masters degree

Skills: Experience in plant molecular biology

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Contract Duration: 1 year

Hours/week: 37.5h
