ABOUT CRAG:

CRAG is an independent research institution engaged in leading-edge basic and applied plant and farm animal sciences. CRAG is established as a Consortium of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology (IRTA), Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and University of Barcelona (UB). The Center is located at the UAB Campus, and currently hosts 200 members from across the world.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform molecular and cellular analyses in plants following established protocols.

Prepare biological samples and perform DNA, RNA, and protein extractions.

Utilize PCR, gel electrophoresis, and spectrophotometry techniques for molecular analysis.

Maintain and operate laboratory equipment, ensuring proper functioning.

Document and analyze experimental results accurately.

Collaborate with team members in planning and executing experiments.

REQUIREMENTS:

Educational requirements: Masters degree

Skills: Experience in plant molecular biology

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Contract Duration: 1 year

Hours/week: 37.5h
