OBJECTIVE:
The Law 20/2021 on the stabilization of personnel in public administrations and entities has enabled the allocation of five new structural positions for support staff at CRAG.
PROFESSIONAL PROFILES:
HR TALENT OFFICER (1 position)
Minimum Qualifications:
University degree related to Psychology, Pedagogy or similar.
Valuable postgraduate training and other specific training in terms of selection and development.
Valuable studies in social inclusion, diversity and equality or similar.
Intermediate/high level of English.
Minimum Experience:
Ideally, 2 years of demonstrable experience in a similar role.
Previous and demonstrable experience in a research center will be valued.
Experience in human resources analysis systems will be an advantage.
Job Responsibilities:
Support research groups throughout the employee life cycle.
Implement and develop, with the support of the HR Manager, all HR procedures, processes, and policies of CRAG.
Maintain an updated database and manage various personnel reports.
Training Plan management, identify needs, and manage our internal platform CRAG Training (reports and development of new functionalities); coordination of our external providers, good communication, and coordination of FUNDAE needs.
Implementation of HRS4R actions (Human Resources Strategy for Researchers of the European Commission), including the Gender Plan, together with the HR Manager.
Monitoring and management of Young Talent researchers at CRAG: students from other institutions (agreements and follow-up insurance), including visitors.
Management of onboarding processes worldwide.
Recruitment and selection for research groups and staff (dissemination and management of the CRAG Jobs internal portal).
Collaboration in the Safety and Health area of the unit.
Direct support to the Unit Head in HR administration and talent processes.
IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN (1 position)
Minimum Qualifications:
Professional training in Computer Systems Administration.
Specific training in Windows, Microsoft 365, MAC, and Linux will be an asset.
Intermediate level of English.
Minimum Experience:
Previous experience in Technical Support; experience as a microcomputer coordinator will be advantageous.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous and demonstrable experience in a research center will be considered.
Job Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and provide support for software, hardware, printers, and workstation phones.
Technical assistance to users, including all tasks related to onboarding, logging, tracking, resolution, and documentation of incidents and requests related to all services provided by the IT department.
User management services, including all necessary tasks in the onboarding process for new staff members and the required procedures for staff termination when leaving the company.
ABOUT CRAG:
The Center for Research in Agrigenomics is a public consortium formed by the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), the Institute of Agri-Food Research and Technology (IRTA), the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and the University of Barcelona (UB). The center is located on the UAB campus and currently hosts 200 members from around the world. CRAG's research programs (from basic science to applied research using experimental plant, crop, and livestock model systems) extensively utilize genomic technologies and large genetic and genomic data sets.
JOB CONDITIONS:
Type of Contract: Structural Contract
Work Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday in the morning and afternoon.
Start Date: Estimated for January 1, 2024
