OBJECTIVE:
In accordance with the provisions of Law 31/2022 of December 23, on the General State Budget for the year 2023, currently in force, and based on the application of the staff replacement rate established for the research sector, CRAG publishes the list of available vacancies with the aim of ensuring the coverage of essential structural positions necessary for the development of its activities.
These vacancies, included in the center’s official Job List (RLT), have remained unfilled due to voluntary resignations in previous years, and their announcement complies with the limits and conditions set by the current regulations regarding public employment offers.
JOB PROFILES:
ECONOMIC MANAGEMENT TECHNICIAN (1 position)
Minimum qualification
Advanced Vocational Training (CFGS) in Finance.
Ongoing studies in Economics, Business Administration, or related fields will be valued.
Knowledge of the Spanish General Accounting Plan (PGC) and the P2P process.
Experience using ERP systems (SAP Business One).
High level of spoken and written Catalan and Spanish.
Minimum experience
1–2 years of proven experience in invoice management, suppliers, and basic accounting (finance area), as well as in order management (purchasing area) and fixed asset management (tracking additions/removals, inventory, etc.).
Used to working with projects (budget, actual, available).
Strong command of office tools, especially Excel.
Experience with ERP (SAP Business ONE) in the purchasing, fixed assets, and accounting modules.
Previous experience in a research center and knowledge of Public Sector Procurement Law will be valued.
Main duties:

Supplier registration and management in SAP: invoice reception, verification, and registration, handling claims, and balance adjustments.

Preparation of data for monthly/annual closing and support during external audits.

Documentation support for project financial reports.

Review and registration of travel reimbursements and training grant payments.

Monitoring of commitments and budgetary reservations (consumables and overheads).

Internal stock management: recording and review of asset purchases.
-
Preparation and submission of the 347 form to the Tax Agency.
ECONOMIC MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT (1 position)
Minimum qualification
Intermediate Vocational Training (CFGM) in Finance, Purchasing, Logistics or similar fields.
Knowledge of the PGC and the P2P process.
Experience with ERP systems (SAP Business One).
High level of spoken and written Catalan and Spanish.
Minimum experience
2 years of proven experience in purchasing management, stock control, or warehouse management.
Experience handling orders, quotes, and tracking issues with suppliers.
Familiarity with project-based work (budget, actual, available).
Strong organizational skills and ability to follow administrative procedures.
Attention to detail and accuracy in data recording.
Autonomy and initiative in resolving issues.
Previous experience in a research center and knowledge of Public Sector Procurement Law will be highly valued.
Main duties:

Monitoring incoming and outgoing stock and orders in the purchasing area.

Supplying stock materials to the laboratories.

Updating and maintaining the warehouse inventory records.

Managing discounts with suppliers.

Purchasing: requesting quotes, handling claims, tracking and resolving issues with suppliers and couriers.

Processing budget reservations for general annual consumables.

Verifying purchase amounts and managing invoice claims.
-
Managing and updating document files for accounting and project justification.
IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN (1 position)
Minimum qualification
Advanced Vocational Training in Microcomputer Systems and Networks, System Administration, or similar.
Specific training in Windows, Microsoft 365, MAC, and Linux is a plus.
Knowledge of hardware configuration, printers, and peripherals.
Intermediate/advanced level of English.
Minimum experience
At least 1 year of previous experience in a similar technical support role, especially in end-user support, will be an advantage.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience in a research center will be valued.
Ability to manage users in corporate environments.
Experience with ticketing systems (Servicetonic highly valued).
Organizational skills and task follow-up.
Proactivity and service-oriented mindset.
Main duties:

Install, configure, and provide support for software, hardware, printers, and workstation phones.

Provide technical assistance to users, including onboarding, issue registration, tracking, resolution, and documentation for all services offered by the IT department.

User management services including all onboarding/offboarding procedures for personnel joining or leaving the institution.
ABOUT CRAG:
The Centre for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG) is a public consortium formed by the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), the Institute for Food and Agricultural Research and Technology (IRTA), the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and the University of Barcelona (UB). CRAG is located on the UAB campus and currently hosts around 200 members from all over the world.
CRAG’s research programs (from basic science to applied research through experimental model systems, crops, and farm animals) make extensive use of genomics technologies and large datasets of genetic and genomic information.

JOB CONDITIONS:
Type of contract: Structural position
Work schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (morning and afternoon).
